Filmic Moments that Parallel Life

Huh? I mean, scenes in film that replicate experiences from your life. Well, MY life in this example.
1. Reality Bites: The scene where Winona is running late for a date (with Ben Stiller?) because she is bleaching her Lady Mo'...I was so relieved to discover that that was a real thing that other young women did, and not just older Greek ladies and that Winona did it (for the film - yeah the line gets blurred for me sometimes), well, that just made it OK!
2. Muriel's Wedding - when Muriel has a big old ugly cry in front of her not-friends in the Resort...anyone ever not had an ugly cry? They are ugly and they are a life unto themselves. The harder you try to stop, the uglier it gets until there's snot and spit flying everywhere and no-one can understand a word you say.
3. 2 Weeks Notice - when Sandra Bullock's character has to use the toilet URGENTLY and they are stuck in traffic with no loo in sight. Yes unfortunately, I was right there with her with the jiggling and then the sitting real still and just hoping and praying it would go away. Sad. She acted that scene very well.
4. Juno - where Ellen Page is caught in that miserably awkward moment with Jason Bateman, I could recognise that terrible feeling you have when you discover that your affection for someone has been horribly misconstrued, and there is no way out without hurting.
That's probably enough raw and exposed moments from me. For the moment anyway. I need chocolate. Talk soon.

Remember seeing reality bites but it was ages ago. Never heard of a lady mo before but I think I can guess what it is, though I am now in the process of trying to forget.
The Juno thing was inevitable and I thought at one point they might actually try eloping together (but not permemently) cause of the way it was built up.
I can only recall a few things right now but here they go:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
When Joel's mum catches him masturbating. I had some close calls back in the day.
Adaptation
Quite a few parts in this one, but the whole muffin/procrastination situation is a big one
Ginger Snaps
Murdering someone, putting them in the freezer and then breaking off their finger **joke** The feeling of intense embarrasment after having given a public presentation like after Bridgitte's slideshow.
Not a film but:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
When Spike goes to make a deal with Buffy to kill Angelus and Joyce, knowing he's an evil vampire, still tries to make small talk and asks "so do you live here in town?". It's something you can imagine every mother doing because of their compulsory rules of etiquette.

It's probably not naievity on your part but just cynicism on mine. The way films go, your usually waiting for some kind of illicit romance to develop.

Nathan: Ow...that's certainly experimental...hope they were soft bristles. That would have been a great scene to see just for the sheer awkwardness of it!
What is 'sugar rush'?
