Script-reading (LINK)

If you like reading and are a very visual person reading the scripts of movies can be 'almost' as good as seeing them. Well, it's cheaper - cos it's free. After taking a scriptwriting class, I became almost obsessed with reading scripts...the good ones are fantastic for the visually minded person.
Access to scripts on websites such as www.dailyscripts.com enabled me to read the movies that I'd always wanted to see but missed in the theatre, or 'watch' the films that I didn't think appropriate for the kids to walk in on, and by that I only mean the ones with colorful language or overlong pashing. No, really.
As an avid book reader (and writer) it gave me an inside view of the change from the 'story' to the 'screen', and it enabled me to relive movies that I particularly enjoyed or best of all catch the dialogue I missed because I have a thimble for a bladder! You know, the important stuff. From reading the scripts you get a closer view of the characters and the 'blink and you'll miss it' symbolism.
But be warned: it can be addictive, and spending too long on the computer can make you cranky, especially if you get interrupted in the good bit.
